CASA is now the leading voice of the Shipping Industry in Sri Lanka
We are The Ceylon Association of Ships' Agents, referred to by anyone connected to Shipping, simply as ‘ CASA '. The Association was formerly known as the Ceylon Association of Steamer Agents and previously as the Ceylon Shipping Committee, established as far back as 1944, over 6 decades – and now in our 64 th year of service to the Shipping Industry.

We comprise 113 Licensed Ships' Agents (as at July 2008), representing all International Shipping Lines of repute who use the Port of Colombo - as a Trans-shipment Hub - due to it's very strategic location along the main International Shipping Lanes.
